To mount an SD card in place of a CF card. This is economically advantageous because high-capacity SD cards are significantly less expensive than CF cards with equivalent performance. This adapter can also be used in Nikon or Canon cameras in particular.

Description:

Converts an SD (Secure Digital) memory card to a CF (Compact Flash) Type I or II card (suitable for both slots).

The SD card fits completely into the adapter, which has the standard dimensions of a CF card (36.4 x 42.8 x 5 mm).

Will work with PDAs, cameras, printers, etc., under 3.3V or 5V.

Suitable for SD, SDHC, SDXC, and also SD 3.0 cards (accepts exFAT Windows files) from 4 to 64GB.

CF interface compatible with IDE mode / Memory mode / IO mode.

Note: For users of Eye-Fi cards for Canon, you will need to use standard cards (less than 2GB) and not EyeFi x2. Furthermore, Eye-Fi cards will not work on Canon 20D/30D/40D cameras with this type of adapter.
