Maybe it’s too small to generate enough energy, maybe it’s faulty, but it doesn’t pump the water, just squirts it every so often. I don’t recommend it.

I have a couple of old fish tanks for wildlife outside my kitchen window and had seen the fountains advert and decided to risk it as I wanted some movement in the water to help keep it cooler and help avoid algae and blanket weed. I love it. Of course the height of the fountain depends on the amount of sun, which varies because of where my tank is situated but at best it reaches a good height.

Bought this as it is so versatile, sits in just a couple of inches of water in our birdbath and surprisingly effective during our hot spell of sunny weather.Very happy with this purchase, pleased to find a selection of spouts to change the effect of the spray. Happy days!!
