Levenhuk - 72818 - Monaco ED 10x42 Binoculars

Levenhuk's Monaco ED 10x42 is a first-class binocular for countless purposes. The core, namely the optics, consists of special ED glass with particularly low dispersion, eyepieces with multiple elements and high-quality lenses. The impact-resistant housing protects the optics extremely reliably, even under extreme conditions. The binoculars in this series are ideal for observing wild animals or birds, and can also be used perfectly in the city or on walks in the country. The Monaco ED 10x42 is an extremely reliable companion even on the water, in rain or snow. A real treasure for people who like fishing, hunting or are looking for a loyal companion for traveling or camping.

Modern, compact roof prisms ensure a particularly handy design. All optical elements are made of ED glass, which is characterized by particularly low dispersion. Therefore, you will always enjoy an exceptionally sharp and high-contrast image. The optics deliver a perfect image without optical aberration, which even scattered light cannot do much harm. Five-element eyepieces and coated lenses ensure a clear, detailed and extremely realistic image. Even in poor lighting conditions, the Monaco ED 10x42 ensures a clear view - ideal for observing distant objects under cloudy skies, at twilight and at dusk.

The high-quality optics are embedded in a robust plastic housing. The housing protects against shocks, water ingress and sudden temperature changes. Levenhuk's Monaco ED 10x42 is filled with nitrogen, a harmless gas that effectively prevents the optical elements from fogging up. This means that you can start observing right away, even if you leave the warm room and go outside into the cold. The lenses do not fog up and no condensation forms. The binocular housing has a non-slip coating that ensures that the glass does not slip out of your hand, even under adverse conditions. The Monaco ED 10x42 can withstand short-term immersion in fresh water up to a depth of 1.5 m without complaint. However, the trip to the underwater world should not last longer than 3 minutes.

With these binoculars you can enjoy all the classic and practical adjustment options: diopter compensation, smooth focusing and easy adjustment of the pupil distance. You can also pull out and retract the eyecups (perfect for people who wear glasses), and attach the binoculars to a separately available tripod for longer observations. Thanks to its generous eye relief, the Monaco ED 10x42 is also particularly suitable for people who wear glasses.
