Sammendrag
- This is a VU meter with a pre-installed driver board, providing direct amplifier output (5-60W amplifier, connected in parallel to the speaker). It is simple to use and suitable for personal DIY enthusiasts.
- Backlight power supply: AC/DC 6-12V 40mA; Applicable range: 8 ohms 5-60W;Direct amplifier output (5-60W amplifier, connected in parallel to the speaker), backlight powered by 12V. Both AC and DC are supported. The blue adjustable resistor on the driver board adjusts the pointer's movement.
- Debugging Method 1. Connect a 1kHz signal generator to the power amplifier, turn the amplifier volume to maximum, and adjust the adjustable resistor on the meter driver board until the meter pointer indicates the "0" position on the label.
- Method 2. If a dedicated signal generator is unavailable, an Android phone can be used as a signal source. Download a signal generator software and output a 1kHz signal to the power amplifier. The adjustment method is the same as above.
- Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Can I use DC power for the backlight? A: Yes, you can use either 12V AC or DC power for the backlight. Q: Can I use it with a car CD player? A: You can use a car CD player converted to home use if the power consumption is less than 60 watts. Note that the meter head is not shockproof and cannot be used in a car.
