- For TOYOTA DUMMY FAKE OBD PORT POWERED key security. THE LEAD IS MODIFIED TO APPEAR TO BE A LIVE OBD Port. When thief tries to connect OBD tool it seems to be live but doesn't transfer any information therefore thief loses ability to start the car via OBD port.
- Simple Plug and Play. Takes Minutes To Fit. These leads are made using For Toyota group OBD ports. These ports are not normally available unless you purchase an entire wiring loom. Wires wrapped in the same canvas tape as For Toyota uses on their wiring looms and use Bi-colored wires so it will look identical the when fitted.
- To fit simply remove pull off the dash lower panel which is held by clips then unclip your port and clip the dummy in its place. Then plug the black male connector on the dummy into your port. Now relocate the to a place of your choosing out of sight to a thief. Finally using the cable ties supplied strap the dummy lead to your cars wiring loom to make it look like the port.
- Most of these devices are pre-programmed so that when they plug into a vehicle, the alarm is turned off during the 'hacking' process. Once 'hacked' these devices usually then program a new key or trick the vehicle into thinking the key is already present.
