Who is Peter Rabbit?

Peter Rabbit is a mischievous bunny who lives with his three older triplet sisters and mother in the Lake District, UK. Their mother warns the four of them all the time about the dangers of straying into Mr McGregor’s garden (a cantankerous human farmer they live close to) as he caught their father trying to steal vegetables and put him in a pie! Peter doesn’t listen to his mother and goes adventuring into the garden to gorge himself on delicious vegetables. 

Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail, Peter’s older sisters, are very good bunnies who always follow their mother’s instructions and never stray - unlike their rascal of a brother. They are often seen helping their mother prepare meals or playing quietly together while Peter causes trouble. 

Benjamin Bunny is Peter’s cousin and accomplice, often getting into trouble together. He helps peter retrieve his jacket and shoes from Mr McGregor’s garden and is an optimistic bunny with a big personality.
