Synopsis:
The actors were never told in advance what was in store for their characters. Each new episode was just as much a surprise for them as it was for the viewers.
The story is set in the year 2257 AD, when humans have already surpassed the speed of light and begun large-scale interstellar travel and colonization near the solar system, making contact with multiple extraterrestrial civilizations and having trade connections. One day, an interstellar destroyer of the Earth Federation encountered an unidentified ship while exploring unknown interstellar space, and fired first due to misjudging its intentions. The other party is called the Minbari alien race, which evolved and developed thousands of years earlier than humans, and its technology is unmatched by humans. Unfortunately, when the Earth Star Ship took a desperate gamble and opened fire first, they killed the Grey Council Speaker Duha (that guy actually knew that according to the big design blueprint, Mingbali had to unite and integrate with the Earthlings, and this time he was not just wandering around, but preparing for his first intimate contact with Earthlings). So Mingbali went to war against Earth, destroying all the Pi Mi that Laluo was facing. During the final blow to the Earth's mainland, Mingbali suddenly stopped attacking and declared surrender. In short, after the ceasefire, Earth funded the construction of the "Babylon Space Station" in neutral space, dedicated to interstellar communication, negotiation, and peaceful cooperation. The first four were destroyed or inexplicably disappeared, giving rise to Babylon 5. Sheridan, the leader of the Babylon 5 army, and Delenn, the ambassador of Mingbali, led their minions to unite with the resistance forces of the Martian colonies to oppose the Earth Federation's authoritarian president who came to power through a murder coup. They also joined forces with various extraterrestrial civilizations to fight back against the mysterious dark species - the Shadows, and said no to the Vorlon people, ultimately embarking on the path of independent and self reliant development of civilization.
