Our bowl sander uses a dual-bearing assembly designed for long life. The dual bearings run cooler and with less friction, keeping rotation steady, and preventing the head from sticking under load. The result is smoother sanding, reduced snags, lower heat build-up, and more reliable control and safety during tough curved work.
The head angle is quickly adjusted via the knob so the foam backing on the bowl sander stays flat against inside bowls, shallow arcs and tight contours. That keeps contact consistent, reduces gouging and cuts down the passes needed for a clean finish.
Our bowl sander's aluminum-alloy handle won't crack and resists rust. It has an ergonomic anti-slip surface and longer reach to keep your hands farther from the spinning work for better comfort and safety during long turning sessions.
Foam-backed sanding heads on the bowl sander flex to match the profile of bowls and tight contours, keeping the disc flat against the workpiece. This close conformity prevents edge lifting and scalloping, so you can use less pressure, make fewer passes, and get a smooth finish every time.
