Synopsis:
Despite repeated persuasion from the female head of the family, Mrs. Violet Bridgestone (played by Ruth Gimmel), the free spirited second son Benedict Bridgestone (played by Luke Thompson) refuses to settle down. However, at Violet's masquerade ball, Benedict was deeply attracted to a mysterious silver clad lady. With the reluctant help of his sister Elois (played by Claudia Jesse), Benedict begins to uncover the true identity of this young lady in social circles. However, his sweetheart is not in high society. She is a clever and witty maid named Sophie Bai (played by He Yilin), serving the awe inspiring hostess Alamingta Ju (played by Liang Peishi).
Fate brought Benedict and Sophie together again, as Benedict struggled between his real-life admiration for this charming maid and his fantasy of a silver clad lady, yet he did not realize that they were actually the same person. Benedict cannot see these two women as the same person, will this shatter the undeniable spark between him and Sophie? And can love really overcome everything, even the socially forbidden cross class relationships?
Benedict's journey was inspired by the marriage of his brothers and sisters, including the marriage of Francesca (Hannah Dodd) and John Stirling (Victor Ali), and the combination of Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope (Nicola Kauffland).
