Cuevas has been perfecting the art of marron glacé production since 1867, when they opened Spain's first dedicated facility. Only the finest 15% of Galician forest chestnuts meet their rigorous selection standards for size and shape. Each chestnut undergoes a meticulous process: steam treatment to remove the inner skin without damage, followed by a slow immersion in sugar syrup, and finally a delicate crystalline glaze perfumed with vanilla. The result is an elegant, fine confection that represents 240 hours of patience and craftsmanship in every jar.
