Synopsis:
The story takes place in a remote outpost of the Navajo reservation near the Monomente Valley in 1971. Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) in the tribal marshal is overwhelmed by a series of seemingly unrelated cases. The closer he gets to the truth, the more he reveals his past trauma. Leaphorn and the new police officer Jim Chee(Kiowa Gordon) are investigating these cases together, and Chee also has some old grievances that need to be resolved when he was young. Together, they fight against evil forces, each other and their own demons on the road to redemption.
