Synopsis:
This cartoon series has been produced by Cartoon Network Studio since 1996, with each episode lasting seven minutes. Dexter (voiced by Feng Youwei) is a seven year old short and talented child who has a huge laboratory, a pet monkey for experimentation, and a naive and troublemaking sister named Didi (voiced by Lv Peiyu). Dexter's daily job is to conduct endless experiments, thinking about how to defeat his opponent Mandek (voiced by Li Wanfeng) and how to prevent Didi's reckless destruction. Dexter never knew that his pet monkey was actually a superhero, and whenever he heard a call, he would protect the Earth with his idols Captain Gloria, Vikarin, and Cook.
This series has been nominated four times for Outstanding Animated Program at the Emmy Awards, three times for Best Television Animation Music Editing at the American Audiovisual Editing Awards, and won the 1997 Annie Award (the Oscars of the animation industry) for scriptwriting.
