Question1: does my DP not have PIN20 PWR, is this normal?
A:Yes,the PIN20 PWR-Out is defined in the DP interface specification and must provide a maximum current of 500mA at +3.3V10% and a minimum power of 1.5W. According to the DP cable, the DP PIN20 power channel is disconnected.In pracitical applications,if the GPU is not properly protected against this voltage feedback,
connecting this pin can cause damage to the GPU over .To prevent this potential risk,DP are ofen designed with the 20pin omitted,avoiding potentially harmful voltage input to the GPU.

Question2:Can the DP cable board check whether the cable is 1.4 or 2.1?
A:No,it is mainly composed of wires and interfaces,and it is functions are video transmission,audio transmission,and data transmission.Different versions of DP cables are mainly different in the physical characteristics of wire material,wire core structure,shielding design,etc.,to adapt to different bandwidth and signal transmission requirements.So our test board doesn't measure the version of the cable.
