The Greek Mythology Top Trumps Card Game features a literney of classic gods and heroes from the Greek tradition. Some well known - like Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and the mighty Heracles - and others that may be a surprise, like the galant yet insolent slayer of the Chimera, Bellerophon. As well as the Gods and heroes, there are also some fearsome monsters, like Medusa, whose terrifying gaze turned all who met her eyes to stone!

As with every Top Trumps card game, each card in the Greek Mythology Set has a set of five statistics that the winner of every round chooses. The Top Trump Team have selected  the statistics that best represent Greek myth. Given the number of physical tasks and miraculous events in the stories, Strength and Magic stats are must-haves, but there are also unusual stats as well, like the Audacity stat, that rates how foolhardy the heroes were, with the most brazen-faced attempting to challenge the gods themselves!

Although the collection of characters contains the gods themselves, no card dominates; each one has its strengths and weaknesses, making for challenging, tactical play. Even mighty Zeus, king of the gods, can lose out to a mere mortal if you play your cards right!
