They can then place parchment paper over the beads. The children use an iron set to cotton temperature to melt the beads. They must iron until the beads stick together. After that, they let their creation cool. For larger projects, it is recommended to press the work between two heavy books to keep it flat. Once cooled, the children carefully remove the paper. Their creation is ready to be admired. If the children wish, they can iron both sides to give more rigidity to their work. These beads are part of the MiDi range, which is the standard range. They measure 5 mm in diameter. Children must be careful to match the pegboards and beads by size. MiDi beads are only used with MiDi pegboards. Note that the Perlou and Hama brands are not compatible.
