Synopsis:
Ainda estou aqui
Eunice Paiva (played by Fernanda Torres) originally had a warm family, but her husband Rubens was secretly arrested due to his political stance. Eunice was imprisoned and tortured while searching for her husband, but she refused to surrender. She shouldered the heavy burden of raising children with her delicate shoulders and even self studied law, only to uncover the truth behind her husband's murder. From then on, a half century long struggle began, transforming from a desperate housewife to a human rights lawyer. When her husband's late death certificate was finally handed over to her, her tearful smile was both an indictment of history and a relief of life!
The film is adapted from the memoir of the same name written by Marcelo Rubens Paiva.
