Fitment: Compatible with Kawasaki Z800 2013-2017 and Kawasaki Z800e 2013-2017.

Condition: 100% brand new. Item name: Speed Gear Display Indicator. Size: 4 cm x 4 cm x 4 cm / 1.57 inch x 1.57 inch x 1.57 inch.

This gear display clearly shows the current gear number and indicates gears from 1 to a maximum of 6, together with a neutral indicator. It detects the current gear faster than other gear indicators that rely on speedometer or tachometer signals, and the display can be mounted in any position for flexible placement.

Installation: Locate the 4-pole male diagnostic connector (DLC), usually near the ECU box. It may have a removable cap and may be partially covered by black tape. After installation, the module must be set up before use.

Setup and reset: When the ignition is turned on, the display counts backwards from 6 to 1, showing that the memory is clear. Raise the rear wheel with a stand and start the engine in neutral. If you do not have a stand, setup can be completed while riding on a long, straight road with light traffic. The screen displays L to indicate that learning has started. Accelerate slowly with the throttle, select first gear, release the clutch, and keep the RPM above idle speed. The display blinks faster while it learns each gear. When the display shows 2, select second gear, then repeat the process until all gears are learned (5 or 6). The unit will then indicate the gears correctly. If some gears are not displayed correctly, reset the gear indicator by turning the key switch on and off five times in a row according to the stated procedure until the reset is complete.
