The nRF52840 Dongle is a compact, low-cost USB dongle for Bluetooth low-power, Bluetooth, thread, ZigBee, 802.15.4, ANT and 2.4GHz proprietary applications using the nRF52840 SoC
Dongle is the perfect target hardware for use with Connect for Desktop because it is inexpensive, but still supports all short-range wireless standards used by Nordic devices
The dongle is designed to work with Connect for Desktop as a wireless hardware device
For other use cases, please note that there is no debugging support on Dongle, only programming the device and communicating via USB
