Featuring the world's first 42.4-megapixel full-frame Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor, Sony's Alpha a7R II mirrorless digital camera is set to take mirrorless imaging to the next level. This sensor design improves low-light performance and accelerates data throughout, enabling fast high-resolution still images and 4K UHD video recording. Working with the BIONZ Five-axis SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilization has also been implemented, which compensates for vertical, horizontal, pitch, yaw and roll movements.
