Sony a9 Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera Body with 64GB SD Card & Camera Bag

Sony a9 Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera Body with 64GB SD Card & Camera Bag Description

Experience uncompromising speed and precision with the Sony a9-a full-frame powerhouse designed for action, sports, and cinematic storytelling. This bundle pairs the a9 body with a SanDisk Extreme 64GB SD card and a sturdy camera bag, ready for serious shooting straight out of the box.

24.2MP Full-Frame Exmor RS Stacked CMOS Sensor delivers ultra-fast readout for up to 20 fps continuous shooting with AF/AE tracking and UHD 4K video. The back-illuminated design boosts high-ISO performance to an extended 204,800 with reduced noise, ensuring cleaner images in challenging lighting, while 14-bit RAW recording preserves maximum color fidelity and post-production flexibility.

BIONZ X Image Processor works in concert with the stacked sensor to maintain rapid processing speeds, enabling up to 20 fps for 362 JPEGs or 241 RAW frames, and a top electronic shutter speed of 1/32,000 sec for freezing fast action. A fast AF/AE metering system runs at 60 times per second to continuously evaluate the scene, delivering reliable subject tracking and blackout-free viewfinding with the electronic shutter.

693-Point Phase-Detection AF covers 93% of the image area, combining 693 phase-detection points with 25 contrast-detection areas for precise focus across a wide range of lighting, with sensitivity down to -3 EV. High-density Tracking AF Technology enhances subject tracking in demanding scenarios, and you can use A-mount lenses via LA-EA3 or LA-EA1 adapters for continued continuous AF/AE tracking.

A refined focus system offers Lock-on AF, Expand Flexible Spot, Eye AF for portraits (available in AF-S and AF-C), and Focus Magnifier for critical manual focus. Peaking MF highlights edges to ensure precise manual focus when needed.

5-Axis SteadyShot INSIDE Image Stabilization provides up to 5 stops of stabilization, enabling sharp handheld shooting with any lens-including adapted and third-party optics, or lenses with built-in stabilization. The system handles pitch/yaw for long focal lengths, horizontal/vertical shift for macro work, and roll compensation for all shooting styles.

UHD 4K Video Recording in XAVC S Format delivers internal 4K up to 30 fps with 20MP effective resolution and 2.4x oversampling for superb detail and reduced moiré and aliasing, thanks to full-pixel readout without binning. Full HD 1080p recording goes up to 120 fps, with 4x and 5x slow-motion playback. An uncompressed HDMI output supports external recorders for pristine 4:2:2 10-bit capture. Frame grabs from 4K video can yield 8MP stills.

Slow & Quick Motion (S&Q) mode provides flexible frame-rate control from 1 to 120 fps in Full HD, allowing dramatic slow-motion and accelerated footage with NTSC/PAL switching. Enhanced Zebra function helps monitor exposure in high-contrast scenes, with adjustable signal level targets for easier lighting control.

Time Code and User Bit settings enable precise editing across multi-camera projects, storing hours, minutes, seconds, and frames on image data, while user bits capture date, time, and scene information for streamlined post-production.

Quad-VGA OLED Tru-Finder delivers a bright, detailed view with 3.686m-dot resolution and 0.78x magnification. Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating minimizes glare, and a 120 Hz refresh rate reduces lag for smoother composition. A fluorine coating on the outermost element helps keep the viewfinder clean.

Rear 3.0" 1.44m-dot tilting touchscreen LCD enables live view shooting and intuitive menu navigation, with Touch Focus for quick focus point adjustments and a flexible tilting design for high- and low-angle work.

Dual SD Card Slots provide flexible storage options, with the lower slot supporting UHS-II cards. Configure in-camera backup, segregated RAW/JPEG recording, or overflow saving to suit your workflow.

My Menu lets you customize up to 72 items for quick access, while a stacked drive mode and dedicated AF-ON button, plus a rear multi-selector, streamline focus and exposure control.

connectivity includes Integrated LAN for wired FTP transfers, customizable file-name prefixes for easier post-production organization, built-in Wi‑Fi for instant sharing, NFC for one-touch device pairing, and Bluetooth for location data tagging.

Magnesium-alloy body combines lightness and durability with weather sealing for challenging environments, and the camera features a built-in PC sync terminal for wired flash synchronization with strobe packs or wireless triggers.

Included in this kit: Sony a9 body, SanDisk Extreme 64GB SD card (150 MB/s), and a rugged camera bag, all designed to keep you shooting efficiently in the field.
