The Sony FDR-AX700 is a 4K HDR civil digital camcorder equipped with a 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS image sensor. Featuring a fast hybrid autofocus mode that combines phase detection autofocus and contrast autofocus, this model is equipped with 273 phase detection autofocus points covering approximately 84% of the image area and supports touchscreen focus with an intelligent automatic tracking mode. The camera is equipped with a 12x Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* optical zoom lens with an equivalent focal length of 29 - 348 mm and supports the clear image zoom function (18X zoom in 4K mode and 24X in HD mode). The built-in professional S-log2/S-log3 gamma curve supports ultra-slow motion recording at 1000 FPS and fast slow-motion shooting at 1 - 100 FPS. The body features a 3.5-inch flip LCD touchscreen of approximately 1.56 megapixels with a 2.36-megapixel electronic viewfinder, dual SD card slots, and a built-in ND filter with three speeds, integrated peak focus, a zebra line, timecode functions required for professional video, and a menu interface aligned with professional models.
