Synopsis:
In 2022, the smoke of future wars is pervasive, and the confrontation between human survivors and endless armies of machines has been ongoing for decades. In 1997, the artificial intelligence known as "Skynet" gained self-awareness and declared war on humanity. In order to change the fate of humanity, a soldier is sent back to the past with the mission of protecting scientist Malcolm before the crisis.
Malcolm (voiced by Andre Holland) is dedicated to developing a new type of artificial intelligence system aimed at countering the imminent attack by Skynet. However, in the face of the complex ethical dilemmas brought about by technology, he not only has to spare no effort in advancing research, but also must evade the relentless pursuit of future killers.
