Synopsis:
Jonson (played by Kyra Sedgwick) travels from Atlanta to Los Angeles to serve as the acting sheriff of the Special Crime Investigation Unit, specializing in investigating murder cases that make the police difficult and the media excited. This seemingly glamorous position is actually quite troublesome, as Jonson has to deal with a group of stubborn men under his command, each with their own personality and ideas, and they all consider themselves the smartest one.
However, as time passed, Jonson gradually gained the recognition and trust of the detectives. Every time, she was able to use her unique intelligence and methods to extract the concrete evidence she wanted from those vicious criminals.
