The TMC2226 possesses all the features of the TMC2209 and serves as a direct replacement. It utilizes an HTSSOP package, offering superior heat dissipation at the same current levels; it generates less heat, supports higher currents, and enables sensorless homing.
Ultra-quiet operation
Large heatsink for excellent thermal performance
Supports sensorless homing
UART mode is enabled via jumper caps, eliminating the need for soldering boards such as the MKS SGEN_L, MKS GEN L, MKS Robin E3D, and MKS Robin V3.

Drive Current Adjustment
1. Measure the voltage between GND and the potentiometer's center pin (Vref).
2. Do not connect the motor while measuring the voltage; doing so risks burning out the driver.
3. Connect the main power supply when measuring the voltage; do not rely solely USB power.
4. Pay close attention to orientation; do not plug it in backwards.
