1. Speed Differences: The V8 supports to 10Mb (JTAG debug mode) and 4Mb (SDW debug mode), while the V9 supports to 20Mb (JTAG debug mode) and 15Mb (SDW debug mode).
2. Stability Differences: The V9's driver IC features voltage adaptation. When properly wired, it automatically adapts to the target board's CPU voltage. It can debug CPUs ranging from 1.8V to 5.5V, while the V8 can only debug 3.3V CPUs and has poor stability when debugging 5V CPUs.
3. V8s are prone to firmware failure and becoming bricked. I've had many V8s fail, and I've had to re-flash the firmware. For ordinary users, this is a near-perfect problem with the V9.
4. V8 no longer supports some CPUs, while the V9 supports almost all for ARM CPUs.
