• They have a beneficial effect on symptoms due to a mild non-infectious disease
• Contain the active substance tetrizoline hydrochloride
• For adults, adolescents, children from 2 years of age
• Vizin Sprint is a new product, in the form of drops, for eye health. Eye drops contain the active substance tetrizoline hydrochloride, which belongs to a group of drugs called decongestants for ophthalmic use (a drug for application in the eye). Vizin Sprint is used to treat temporary redness of the eyes due to mild non-infectious irritation due, for example, to smoke, dust, wind, chlorinated water, light, or allergies in adults, adolescents, children from 2 years of age. Children under 6 years of age should be treated with Vizin Sprint only after a recommendation from a medical professional.

• Dosage:
  
  Children aged 6 years and over, adolescents and adults: unless otherwise prescribed by a specialist, drip 1 or 2 drops into the affected eye(s) 2 to 3 times a day. Before that, remove the contact lenses (see "Instructions for contact lens wearers").
  
  Children from 2 to 6 years old: Vizin Sprint should only be used after a recommendation from a medical professional.
  
  Method of application:
  
  1. Before the first opening, remove the sleeve around the neck of the bottle, indicating opening, following the perforation.
  2. To open the childproof cap, press it and turn it counterclockwise.
  3. After opening the cap, the bottle should be turned upside down. Tilt your head slightly back. Squeeze the bottle lightly to drip 1 or 2 drop(s) into the conjunctival sac. The tip of the bottle should not come into contact with anything other than the cap to avoid contamination. Never touch the eye with the tip of the bottle.
  4. After application, blink slightly for a few seconds to facilitate even distribution of drops.
  5. Close the cap by turning it all the way clockwise. Never touch the tip of the bottle. Between applications, the bottle must be kept closed.
  
  Vizin Sprint should be used for the shortest time necessary to relieve symptoms and no longer than 5 consecutive days. Repeated administration should be carried out with caution, as prolonged use (even with short breaks of several days) or excessive use may lead to chronic swelling and/or atrophy of the conjunctiva.

  Prolonged use can intensify the redness of the eye. If no relief is achieved after 2 days, or if redness worsens or persists, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
  
  In general, contact lenses should not be worn in the presence of eye disease. If contact lenses are worn, they should be removed before administration of the drug and not reinserted for 15 minutes after administration.
  
  Warnings:
  
  Do not use in children under 2 years of age.
  
  This drug contains 7.5 μg of phosphates in each drop. If you suffer from severe damage to the transparent layer of the front of the eye (cornea), in very rare cases, phosphates can lead to cloudy spots on the cornea due to calcium buildup during treatment.
  
  Talk to your doctor before using Vizin Sprint if you suffer from the following diseases:
  - non-serious cardiovascular diseases (e.g. ischemic heart disease, high blood pressure, pheochromocytoma)
  - benign prostate
  enlargement- metabolic disorders (e.g. hyperthyroidism, diabetes, pigment formation disorders in red blood cells)
  - dry rhinitis (chronic inflammation in the front of the nose)
  - dry keratoconjunctivitis (dryness of the conjunctiva and cornea)
  - glaucoma (eye disease in which the optic nerve that connects the eye to the brain is damaged).
  
  If there is no improvement within 48 hours, if redness or irritation persists or worsens, or if you experience changes in vision or eye pain, stop using this medicine and consult a doctor. Irritation or redness due to infection, a foreign body in the eye, or chemical trauma to the cornea also necessitates an examination by a doctor. If you experience headaches, loss of vision, visual disturbances (eg, the appearance of floating objects or double vision), severe acute or unilateral redness of the eyes, or pain when exposed to light, stop using the medication and consult a doctor, as this may mean that you have a serious eye disease for which this product will not help.
  
  Be careful not to use more than the required amount of this medication and not to use it for too long (i.e. more than 3-5 consecutive days), as this may worsen redness of the eyes or symptoms in the nose.
  
  When using this product, your pupils may temporarily dilate.
  
  Keep out of reach of children and below 30°C.Do
  not use this medicine after the expiration date.
  Dispose of the product 6 weeks after unsealing and opening the package.
  Do not use this medicine if you notice discoloration or cloudiness of the solution.
  Do not dispose of medicines in the drain or in the household waste container.
  Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines that you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.
