Two-in-one water quality tester-a versatile water quality tester that tests chlorine or pH in water at the touch of a button. Large screen-The large screen provides clearer and faster readings, providing an intuitive overview of water quality. Durable-The housing is made of high-quality, thickened plastic, durable and wear-resistant for long-term use. Features-Lightweight and compact for easy portability. Contains a convenient hanging hole. Advantages-Easy to use, no chemicals required. Suitable for testing water quality in pools, spas, and more. Product Description: Power supply: 1 AA 1.5V battery (not included). Recommended chlorine level for pools and spas: 1.2 to 1.7 ppm. Recommended pH level for pools and spas: 7.2 to 7.8 pH. Package includes: 1 x Water Quality Tester. Construction Instructions: "Electric Tester." To extend the life of the Pool Checker PC-102 and ensure accurate results, be sure to: Keep the switch in the OFF position (turn it all the way to "PH") when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Do not immerse the probe in any liquid other than pool or spa water. Check battery freshness regularly - the device requires one 1/4" AA" alkaline battery, 0.5 volt. Chlorine Calibration Set Point: Before using the Electrolytic Water Tester (ET) for the first time, you need to adjust (calibrate) it to match your pool or spa water in the following order: 1. Test your pool or spa water using a conventional liquid test kit. 2. Record your desired chlorine reading level (e.g., 1.5 ppm). 3. No pH adjustment is required. Find your adjustment point and: A. Insert a 1.5 volt AA battery into the battery compartment inside the handle (positive side up). B. Hold the ET in one hand and the probe in the other. C. Insert the clean metal probe into the water until the black band appears. D. Gently stir the water with the probe. E. With the probe still in the water, turn the wheel on the face of the tester to the left to indicate the "CL" level. Slowly turn the wheel to the right until the pointer matches the chlorine level you recorded using the conventional liquid tester (e.g., 1.5). F. Remove the probe from the water without touching the wheel.
