Designed for use on branched hot water lines coming from the water heater, the Watts Premier Replacement Sensor Valve can serve as a replacement valve or for adding an additional valve where it's needed. It is exclusively compatible with the Watts Premier 500800 or 500805 Hot Water Recirculating Pump models. Please note that this valve is not intended for use with dedicated return lines to the water heater.As an essential part of the hot water recirculating system, the sensor valve enhances the efficiency of your hot water system by opening when the water on the hot water side cools, effectively pushing the cool water back to the water heater. Once the hot water line reaches 98F, the valve closes, ensuring that you have immediate access to hot water while reducing the wait time. This not only improves comfort but also helps in conserving water.This product includes two 12" supply lines with adapter fittings, making the installation and maintenance process straightforward and hassle-free. The simple design of the replacement sensor valve ensures that it can be easily installed without the need for additional components or specialized tools. For best results, avoid using thread sealant tape or pipe dope on the sensor valve threads during installation.The Watts Premier Replacement Sensor Valve is compatible with all types of pipes, adding to its versatility.
