I had no idea that Onbuy used Amazon for deliveries so this was very confused because I often order this very same product from Amazon.
I did not receive any delivery confirmation from Onbuy so eventually still confused I contacted Onbuy to enquire to where my order was, they replied quickly to tell me that they had delivered both items and sent me a picture of the one delivered item along side the separate item from ordered from Amazon on my doorstep telling me both items were delivered?
A 14kg bag of dog food is quite easy to photograph but I still had to point out to them that there was only one bag in the picture and therefore their own photograph proved that I had only received one bag and not two.
They then asked me to provide proof of payment ? I think was just another stalling tactic hoping I would just go away. Luckily I had paid through Paypal and so was able to send them proof of the transaction with their name on it.
Eventually and with no apology for basically accusing me of lying they agreed to deliver a replacement for the second bag, however this never arrived so after a couple of weeks with no contact I contacted them to inquire to where my order was. It took five emails before they finally replied by email with just two words, “refund issued”
Yes I eventually got my money back but the time and effort this took was ridiculous, I will never use Onbuy again, and I will not ever recommend them.
