I accidentally placed a duplicate order and contacted the seller via OnBuy within minutes, as well as contacting OnBuy directly. There was no clear cancellation button or effective cancellation route.

OnBuy support was extremely poor. I received repetitive, template-style replies from multiple agents who repeatedly told me the parcel was already in transit, even after I explained that this was not the issue I needed resolved. My questions were not properly answered, my complaint was not meaningfully escalated, and there was confusion over the order numbers despite one only being mentioned to show the second order was a duplicate.

I was repeatedly told to refuse delivery, but both items arrived together in the same box, so refusing delivery would have meant refusing the original order too. I have had to keep both items because returning one would leave me out of pocket for postage.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend OnBuy if you need proper customer support when something goes wrong.
