I did not use this Kerosene stove heater straight away as I bought it for harsh winter use. When I took it out of the package later on, I noticed it was damaged and the tank was leaking oil and the stove top had a section where paint was scraped off and the metal was showing and there was a dent.
I contacted customer service and at first they said there was nothing they could do due to the length of time that went by since I purchased the product. However, when I reminded them of the legislation regarding fitness for purpose for kerosene heaters, they were able to contact the manufacturers who sent out a new tank immediately. Customer service even wished me a pleasant life. At the end of the day, they resolved the main part of my issue. I will now get some spray paint to spray over the bare metal on the stove top to avoid rusting.
I would have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for this little episode.
