Waiting on refund been about 2/3 weeks
First of all I ordered a smoke detector from onbuy.
I was supposed to receive tracking information from their supplier, Jennah services and that never arrived.
After chasing onbuy, with whom I had the contract, they kept transferring responsibility to their supplier.
Eventually a package arrived. It did not have my name on it but had my address. The item inside was not what I ordered and after navigating through onbuys complicated, non customer friendly communications system I managed to get onbuys supplier to agree a refund and arrange for the wrongly supplied item to be returned.
So far onbuys supplier appears to have sent a refund (showing on my card as another purchase of the same item) . This will inevitably lead to further time wasting disputes.
I cannot believe how incompetent this company, its systems and suppliers are.
I’ll never use them again..
