All kong yanshao reviews
The first handheld vacuum cleaner arrived very fast, rather than the two weeks or so mentioned in the order confirmation.
The instructions said to charge it up for 24 hours, and that to charge it for less time could affect future performance of the battery, so it is not using a lithium battery. After plugging in the charger in around 8pm I checked it in the morning around 8am, and found that the charging light was no longer on.
I contacted Vax who make the machine and they were very helpful in trying to sort out the issue. They said that it sounds like a faulty battery as it should charge for 24 hours. They gave me a code to give to kong yanshao
to show that there was a fault with the machine.
Kong Yanshao replied saying that the courier will pick up the machine to return it. I put it out the next day for collection, but the courier did not turn up. I told Kong Yanshao
Kong Yanshao then sent me a new machine, and I was going to leave the faulty machine for them to return. However, I never got a message from Kong Yanshao or the courier company letting me know that a new machine was on its way, therefore I did not leave the old machine out for collection and return.
After contacting Kong Yanshao they said to keep the old machine, apparently it is complicated to return it (like Amazon returns I suspect) and they asked me to write them a good review. I explained that I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and that it could take a couple of months to write of my experience. I was not capable of doing this in the time I had said, so I wrote to them apologising for the delay, and said it would be completed when I was able. They were kind enough to say they wish me a speedy recovery. This review is a true representation of my memory of the experience of dealing with them. They were not perfect and I was puzzled by the replacement machine arriving unannounced and left in front of my door, but that is the courier company.
Another thing that struck me as odd, and is now becoming the norm, is that the machine was not in a protective cardboard box, just the original packaging box. Both machines arrived undamaged.
