Similar to other reviews, I was also scammed by this seller. I was given a tracking number that didn't work, and when I asked the seller about this, they told me the package was going through customs. The tracking number never did work, and a week later, I then received an email saying my package had been delivered- despite the fact that I was in my house at the time, and there was no courier or package to be seen. I have since contacted both the buyer and the OnBuy team, both of which have been no help. I would encourage people in a similar situation to get a refund through your bank as OnBuy have not helped at all.

The item has not been delivered, I was home all day. Have CCTV FOOTAGE, checked the hidden spots nothing, no one enter the gate to the ring according to the tracking. Asked the neighbours nothing. I knew for a fact it was a scam once I saw it came from China poor from onbuy to allow this. Seller is a scammer and provided fake tracking as well careful of onbuy won't be using onbuy again lost a customer due to this situation

This product was not delivered by the seller and I kept receiving misleading mails purporting to have delivered the phone to me . I was at home waiting and no phone was delivered. Despite waiting 6 days from the initial delivery date promised. It has been a painful experience in view of the fact that this is my 1st purchase encounter with onbuy

DO NOT TRUST THIS SELLER – I Regret Ordering!
I ordered a Canon Powershot SX740 camera on March 12th, with an expected delivery date of March 14th -15th. Not only did it never arrive, but the entire process has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
I first contacted the seller on March 17th after my order had not arrived. Their response was that they had “no control over logistics” and asked me to wait four more days, offering a £20 credit as compensation. At the time, they were responsive, and I agreed to follow up if I still hadn’t received my order after those four days.
On March 21st, I reached out again since my camera still had not arrived. The seller then claimed that the parcel was in the UK and should be delivered within two days—yet another delay. I made it clear that I expected it no later than March 22nd and that if it didn’t arrive, I would require a full refund. It is completely unacceptable that the tracking number they provided was either invalid or not functioning, forcing me to chase them for updates rather than receiving proactive communication for an order that was already a week overdue.
The seller responded the same day with a screenshot showing that the package was supposedly in the country and "soon to be delivered." However, today I received a notification from OnBuy stating that my parcel was delivered—but I never received it.
To be clear, I live in a building with 24/7 concierge services and a secure parcel room, so the chances of missing a delivery are slim to none. If the package had truly been delivered, I would have it.
To make matters worse, I have just now seen the terrible reviews on this seller’s shop—reviews that weren’t visible before I placed my order. If they had been, I would have never ordered from them. It is disheartening to see how many people have been scammed.
I strongly urge potential buyers to carefully read all the reviews before purchasing from this seller, as the bad experiences far outweigh the good ones. Do not fall into the same trap that I did. I am now hoping that OnBuy steps in to resolve this and issue me a full refund.

I ordered a Sony RX100 VII on 12/03/2025 from a seller on OnBuy, with the expectation of receiving it by 14/03/2025. However, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating.
Initially, the seller provided a tracking number from ChinaPost, which didn’t work. When I reached out for an update, they gave me a new tracking number from Royal Mail. I checked the tracking on the official Royal Mail website, and it indicated that the order was delivered to Atherstone on 19/03/2025. However, upon further investigation, the postcode listed for that delivery didn’t match mine, meaning the parcel was never destined for my address. The tracking number was clearly fake, and the camera was never in that parcel.
I’m now 10 days into trying to resolve this with OnBuy, but all they’ve told me is to continue waiting for the seller to respond. I still haven’t received my camera or my money back, and at this point, it’s clear I’ve been scammed.
This situation has left me a very unhappy customer. The seller, who only began operating in 2025, had zero reviews at the time, sold a single item, and listed the camera at a significantly lower price (around £200 less than elsewhere). I now realize how obvious it should’ve been that this was a scam, but I still made the mistake of trusting the listing.
To anyone considering buying from this seller: please read the reviews carefully and be cautious. It seems they may be using this same scam on others. I’ll update this review once I’ve been refunded, but for now, I strongly advise against purchasing from this seller.
I still have faith that OnBuy will resolve this issue, but I’m waiting for a refund and will keep others informed about this experience.

Ordered a Nikon P950 which I never received. Fake tracking link. Contacted Onbuy for a refund. I would say to avoid this seller like the plague but I've noticed today Mathous Store is no longer listed on Onbuy. Good riddance!
