Over 2 weeks ago I purchased a CD from a seller advertising on On Buy for my sister. It is quite a rare CD and was expensive for what you normally pay for CDS. I received messages telling me order received, then order dispatched etc. Two weeks later I received a message from 'On buy'asking if I was happy with my order? When I informed to hem I had not received it to hey contacted the seller. Seller contacted me telling me that they had sold the CD on another site and had spent time sourcing another one and it should be with me by the end of next week! Seriously? My answer to this was firstly who's responsible for removing listed items when they are sold? Secondly, why could the seller not contact me and advise me what has happened so I could have cancelled and ordered from a more reliable site/seller? Thirdly, is it not right to contact me and let me know there will be a delay? So due to this I will now never shop on 'On Buy' again, just as I no longer do on eBay. Too many unreliable sellers, scammers etc that the sites protect and do nothing about.
