Wrendale was founded by artist Hannah Dale in 2012. Inspired by the English countryside and looking for a creative outlet after having children, Hannah started painting animals in her kitchen in her Lincolnshire home. She started with hares; loving their expressive faces and large personalities. After printing these designs as greeting cards and sharing with local gift shops, the designs became an instant hit and has only expanded since then. Hannah expanded her repertoire and began painting other animals – the rest, as they say, is history!
