190 Litre Heavy Duty Garden Tumbling Composter Description

The Selections heavy duty tumbling composter is an easy and efficient way to create garden compost. Ideal for turning kitchen scraps & organic garden waste into beautiful, rich compost, this compost tumbler has a horizontal rotating drum which makes it easy to turn when full.

Coming flat packed, it does require some home assembly. It is manufactured from heavy duty plastic (the drum is constructed from 90% recycled plastic material).

The drum comes with a tight locking panel that sits centrally. This panel seals the opening for putting organic waste in and stays tightly sealed when tumbling. This tumbler should be operated regularly, every 2-3 days, depending on the outdoor temperature.

Inside there are a set of mixing spikes, these will mix and aerate up the organic waste as it is tumbled
Compost tumblers are especially effective at composting grass clippings – great for the summer months when there is a lot being produced. The temperature inside the tumbler is raised as the casing is black – absorbing heat – again, speeding up the composting process.

Once you have created your compost in the tumbler, wheel it to your desired area, unlock the front panel, and empty the contents.
