Preparation
Surfaces to be primed should be free from dirt,
oil, grease, dust or loosely bound coatings or
any other contaminants that may affect
adhesion. Organic growth should be
removed/treated with Bond It MOULD STOP.
Surfaces MUST be dry prior to application.
Application
Temperature during application of primer must be above 5o
C. The
Primer is coloured light blue to identify treated areas. Stir the
PRIMER before use to ensure all pigment and polymer is fully
dispersed. Apply a single coat of EASISEAL PRO PRIMER to the
surface with a brush or roller. Follow coverage rate to ensure
minimum thickness is achieved. Leave to fully cure, normally
overnight, in cold weather it may require 48 hours to fully cure.
Product will dry to a light blue film. If a second coat is required,
this should only be applied after first coat has fully cured.
It is essential that bituminous materials are completely covered
with EASISEAL PRO PRIMER prior to application of EASISEAL PRO.
Particular care must be given to rough surfaces such as bitumen
felt, where any gaps in primer coverage can lead to product
failure. It is essential that any bitumen based surfaces have at
least 2 coats of the Primer in-situ or the EasiSeal
WILL fail. Seams and edges may require 3 coats
as bitumen is more exposed in these sections.
Continue with the application of EASISEAL PRO
WATERPROOFING COMPOUND as per the Technical
Datasheet /packaging details. We recommend a
small discreet area approximately 1m2 is treated
with the EASISEAL PRO MEMBRANE prior to applying to the full
surface area for the purpose of identifying any adverse reaction
between product and the substrate It is recommended that only the “black” EASISEAL PRO is used over
bitumen coatings. Other colours may discolour due to bleed
through from the bitumen coating or where primer coverage is
incomplete or with waterbased bitumen coatings. It is
recommended that SEAL IT REINFORCING MAT is bedded into the
EASISEAL PRO to extend the life span of the product over bitumen.
Cleaning Of Tools
Clean brushes or rollers with soap and water before the material
has a chance to harden.
Coverage
1L is sufficient for approximately 5m2 (12.5L approx: 60m2
) laid as a
one coat application.

Shelf Life
12 months from date of manufacture when stored in sealed tins.
Storage Conditions
Stored in cool, dry conditions between 5o
C and 30oC.
Disposal of Containers
Do not leave empty containers where residues could be harmful to
children, animals or the environment. Replace lids and remove
any containers to a central disposal point in accordance with local
regulations.
