(2 KG ) 100% Soya Wax Flakes | Soya Wax For Candle Making

Whether you are an experienced candle maker or are just starting to dip your toes into making candles, grab yourself a bag of these 100% Soya Wax Flakes. Using soya wax over beeswax or paraffin has an abundance of benefits for both you and the environment.

Paraffin tends to leave a sooty residue pretty much everywhere and also has an underlying smell to it that can clash with the lovely fragrances you have chosen for your candle. Beeswax is another popular option but if you are vegan, or know someone who is, using beeswax isn't particularly in agreement with a vegan lifestyle. Therefore, soya wax is one of the best choices for homemade candles as it has no underlying smell of its own, burns cleanly and doesn't take anything away from the bees!

This soya wax is in convenient flake form which makes it easy to pour and measure out either by weight or volume and the smaller pieces melt down quickly and evenly. Because of its low melting point, it is not suitable for pillar or freestanding candles and will need to be poured into a container with the candle wicks placed inside. The white colour makes it easy to dye with liquid dyes and once melted, you can stir in the fragrance of your choice.

Not just for candle making, these wax flakes can also be used for batik fabric dyeing techniques, creating vegan fabric food wraps and anything else creative that uses wax!
