Tulips Are Low-Growing With Long Lasting Flowers And Are Usually One Of The Earliest Of The Spring Bulbs. They Are Also Called Waterlily Tulips Because When Fully Opened On A Very Sunny Day, They Are Flat And Star-Shaped Reminiscent Of Waterlilies. They Do Not Of Course, Live In Water, Nor Even Require Much Watering, Liking Moist Well-Drained Soil When Active And Rather Dry Soil When Dormant. As They Are Small. Plant Them In Drifts, Rather Than Singly.
Giuseppe Verdi Is A Fully Hardy, Perennial, Low Growing, Thrives In Full Sun, Ok In Partial Shade, With Well Drained Soil. These Spring Time Favourites Perform Many Duties In The Garden, But Their Greatest Contribution Is To Bring Bright Colour To Winter Weary Eyes. Borne Singly Or In Small Clusters On Calf-High Stems, They Have Six Petals And A Yellow Eye And Are Fragrant.
The Grey-Green Lance-Shaped Often Undulating Leaves Are Usually Held Close To The Base Of The Stem. This Warm Red Flower With Yellow Edges Grows 25-30 Cm In Height. The Interior Of The Tepal Is Warm Yellow With Tiny Red Markings. The Leaves Are Tinged With Purple.
