GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Please Make Sure When Buying These Bulbs That You Dont Buy Too Small A Bulb Or They Wont Flower, They Will Only Throw Green Leaves And Take 2-3 Years To Flower. Under A Size 10 Will Only Throw 30% Flowerage At Best. These Bulbs Are A Good Flowering Size
Valdrome Is What Is Known As A Split-Corona Daffodil. The Daffodils In Ths Division Have A Very Unusual Form. The Term Corona In The Title Refers To The Cup (Or Trumpet) Od The Daffodil. The Cup Is Split For At Least One-Half Of Its Length, Creating An Open, Up-Facing Blossom, Instead Of The Typical Trumpet. As A Result, Many Of The Flowers Look More Like A Hibiscus Than They Do A Daffodil. They Are Further Divided Into 2 Groups Collar Daffodils And Papillon Daffodils.
Valdrome Is A Collar Split Corona And A Stunning Butterfly Daffodil With White Petals ,Perianth Segments Ovate, Blunt, Yellowish White, Heavily Tinged Yellow At The Base, Also At The Midrib Beneath, Spreading, Overlapping One-Third; The Corona Is Split To Base, The Six Segments As Wide & Almost As Long As The Perianth Segments, Yellow. These Flowers Can Easily Be Mistaken For Butterflies At A Distance. Imagine The Lavish Host Of Colour These Beautiful Daffodils Will Bring To Your Garden
Overall These Are Some Of The Showiest Daffodils Ever, Especially For Mass Plantings
Like All Daffodils Valdrome Is A Superb Cutflower, A Highlight In Any Flower Arrangement And In The Landscape, It Pairs Well With Spring Blooming Perennials And Shrubs. It Is Also Wonderful For Planting In Showy Masses. When You See A Cluster Of These Exquisite Daffodils Come Up In The Springtime. We All Like To See Daffodils Poking Their Heads Through After A Cold Winter
These Are Some Of The Easiest Bulbs To Grow. They Prefer Full To Part Sun And Require Average Fertile Soil. After Blooming, It Is Good To Let Their Green Tops Photosynthesize To Allow Them To Store Plenty Of Fuel For Next Springs Display. Once Their Leaves Start To Turn Yellow, They Can Be Cut To The Ground. Divide Them In Summer If Bloom Or Vigour Dwindles. The Plants Are Deer, Rabbit And Squirrel Resistant.
Plant 15cm (6) Deep And 5-10cms (2-4) Apart 15cm-22cm (6-9) Per Sq Ft
