(20x40cm x 5) Sorbex Super Absorbent Wound Dressing Description
Sorbex is a class of wound dressings know as Super Absorbent
Super absorbent dressings are indicated for the management of moderate to high exuding wounds including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and dehisced surgical wounds. This can also be used for Post Operative wound sites. Additional fixation is required such as a stockinette dressing or a bandage
This dressing is made up of four unique layers
- Optisil silicone skin contact layer which does not remove newly formed skin cells on removal
- Conformable wicking layer, helps the spread of exudate across the dressing
- Super absorbent core, highly absorbent soft layer
- Protective backing, a waterproof, bacteria proof backing to finishoff the dressing
