• WHAT IS CEYLON CINNAMON? Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum Verum / Cinnamomum Zeylanicum), also referred to as true cinnamon is produced from the dried inner bark of the Ceylon Cinnamon tree which is native to Sri Lanka (Ceylon). Although cinnamon is grown in various parts of the sub-continent and Africa, authentic Ceylon Cinnamon is native to Sri Lanka. Cinnamon is widely used as a spice, principally employed in cookery as a condiment and flavouring material.
