Precautions for use:
1. Before testing for leakage current, please turn off the engine and remove the key. Do not start the engine during the test to avoid blowing the fuse.
2. To simulate a car that is not running, please ensure all doors are locked and the key is removed to put the car's computer into sleep mode.
3. Sleep varies depending the vehicle model. Please wait patiently for the vehicle to enter sleep mode before taking measurements.
4. Standby current varies depending the vehicle model. The ideal value for most vehicles is between 20-50 mA.
Note: The meter reading starts at 30mA. When the dormant current is too low, the meter will display 0, indicating that the car is not leaking electricity.
