- REFILL FOR ALL FUNNEL TYPE MOTHTRAPS - The TOPBUXUS pheromone refill can be used in all funnel-shaped moth traps. For use in the TOPBUXUS Moth Trap and other moth traps: place 1 capsule in the basket in the lid of the moth trap. Store the 2nd capsule in the freezer or refrigerator. This allows you to change the pheromones in the trap halfway through the season.
- JUST 2 CAPSULES NEEDED FOR ONE WHOLE SEASON - Each capsule has an efficacy of approximately 10-12 weeks after application. In the 3rd week of May, place 1 capsule in the basket in the lid of your moth trap and place the trap in your garden near your Box. Store the other capsule in the refrigerator or freezer. In the last week of July, refresh the pheromone by using the 2nd capsule. This allows you to effectively monitor Boxwood Moth activity for an entire season with only 2 capsules per trap.

2X Topbuxus Pheromone Lure Refill For Box Tree Caterpillar Moth Traps Description
Directions for use:
Assemble the moth trap according to the instructions on the box. Note: You only use one capsule of attractant at a time! Store the other capsule in the refrigerator or freezer. At the beginning of the season (3rd week of May) you place 1 pheromone capsule in the basket in the lid of the moth trap. After this you hang the moth trap in your garden near your Boxwood. Halfway through the season (in the last week of July), the first pheromone has expired, you now replace the old capsule with the fresh capsule that you have stored in the refrigerator or freezer. In this way, you can monitor the Boxwood moth for a whole season, allowing you to easily determine the right moment to perform and biological control with TOPBUXUS XenTari.
Box moths monitoring:
The male moths are attracted by the pheromone and are caught in the trap. 2 weeks after the first sighting of moths in the trap, it is recommended to perform a biological treatment against Boxwood caterpillars with TOPBUXUS XenTari.
This way you can control the Boxwood Caterpillar in a simple, effective and environmentally friendly way.

With their highly specific action and natural origin, TOPBUXUS pheromones and are TOPBUXUS Anti Rups® harmless to important beneficial insects such as bees for pollination, insect predators and parasites used to control other insect pests. TOPBUXUS Pheromones and TOPBUXUS Anti Rups® are also not harmful to humans, nature or the environment.
Store pheromones in the refrigerator (2 years shelf life) or freezer (unlimited shelf life).

This is a terrible product - if you're a male box tree caterpillar moth. It will lure you into a trap where you will die.
For anyone who wishes to protect their box trees, however, it is very effective indeed. Ours caught numerous moths, hopefully before they had a chance to fertilise any females!

Very happy with the product,not cheap but you will save money by saving precious box plants.In my opinion the best performing treatment.
The product which I’ve used before arrived in good time.The box it was in was a bit squashed but the two syringes containing the Top Buxus were intact. If you are experiencing problems with box caterpillar eating your box hedging plants then using this pheromone treatment in a pheromone trap twice during the season along with spraying liberally with xentari really helps.
Have used it before and it does work but you need to spray and also daily pick caterpillars off hedge!!
