- The function of the soft start board is to reduce the impact current at the moment of starting to reduce the impact of the machine on the power grid and extend the life of the switch. This board uses a high-current 40A pin relay and 10 thermistors to effectively protect the machine and prevent excessive startup current.
- This board does not require auxiliary power supply, and only has 2 wiring terminals, one for power input and one output for load, which is very convenient to use.
- At the initial stage of power-on, the thermistor with negative temperature coefficient is used to supply power to the load to limit the instantaneous current. As the temperature of the thermistor rises, the resistance decreases, and the load is close to the normal working state. After about 3 seconds, the relay is closed and short-circuited.
- The thermistor, the power supply will supply power to the load through the relay contact, and the load will enter the normal working state.
