HDMI cable length is fixed after production. The HDMI connector can only be soldered or terminated by professional workers in the factory, so users cannot change the HDMI cable length themselves. The HDMI head is large, so installation should be hidden and the route should avoid easy bending or pulling through inwall tubes or trays. CAT5e/6 cables do not have these limitations.
