Polysorbate 80 is a light coloured viscous liquid with a neutral scent. Polysorbate 80 is a solubiliser and an emulsifier that is commonly used in cosmetics. This means that it takes ingredients that are insoluble in water (like mica powder or essential oils) and helps to dissolve them into a water-based solution.
