good for getting sliced bread for toast
I found it difficult to put together and quite hard to get the thickness of slice I require. However, I can’t complain, because it is not expensive.
Very simple, but despite its apparent fragility, it has stood up to daily use and makes sure my home made tin loaf produces perfectly even slices which make perfect toast!
Very dissapointed , but I suppose you get what you pay for, more like a childs toy...Straight in the recycle bin...
I am delighted with this device. I can now cut my fresh homemade bread easily and evenly. Happy to recommend it.
Since my good lady started using this wee gadget a loaf lasts us 3 days instead of 2. Plus as she no longer feels the need to apologise for her carving, her self esteem has gone up a notch. Money well spent!
