Aeons Ancient Roots High Polyphenol Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Tuscan, 250ml

Aeons Ancient Roots High Polyphenol Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Tuscan, 250ml Description

Aeons Ancient Roots High Polyphenol Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Tuscan, 250ml High Polyphenol Extra Virgin Olive Oil: the peppery catch at the back of your throat is oleocanthal, and it is what an olive oil high in polyphenols tastes like, not a fault. Expect bold, grassy and green rather than the soft, neutral taste of a supermarket bottle. Helps Maintain Normal Cholesterol Levels: this extra virgin olive oil is high in monounsaturated fats, which help maintain normal blood cholesterol when they replace saturated fats in your diet. One tablespoon a day is all it takes, which is why a 250ml bottle lasts. Single Estate Tuscan Olive Oil: pressed from Leccino, Moraiolo, Pendolino and Correggiolo olives grown in mineral rich volcanic soil on one family farm in Tuscany. Never blended with a lesser oil, never refined, and grown without pesticides. Cold Pressed Olive Oil, Within 24 Hours: hand harvested at peak ripeness and cold pressed within a day of picking, then bottled unblended in UV protected glass. A polyphenol olive oil only keeps its polyphenols if it is pressed fast and kept out of the light. Created by Dr Sarah Brewer: a GP and nutritional expert who drinks a spoonful neat each morning. Use it as a finishing oil over salads, soups and roasted vegetables rather than for high heat cooking, because heat costs you the polyphenols. Use within 6 months of opening.
